Ollerton’s taking shape ! Andy Callow updates us on this and other Eden Enhanced news—
Eden Enhanced is undergoing a period of growth across the county and a strategic plan is in place to support this. The plan focuses on the development of a further 3 projects and the resources required to achieve this. It includes meaningful tenant involvement, staff recruitment (which will in turn offer opportunities for career development within our service) and the development of existing standards.
Over the coming months there will be a series of peer audits focussing on medication, documentation and finance, developing and improving to ensure that we meet the individual needs of the tenant group along with local and national legislation.
Dawn Brown is leading in the development of an Involvement Group that will aim to engage tenants in all aspects of the service delivery in a meaningful way. This will include recruitment, documentation, reviews and audit. The first meeting has been arranged for Tuesday 20th July, 1230 hr, Meeting Room, Burnaby House. If you would like further information or you would like to attend the meeting please contact Dawn on 01623 651987.
Kelly White has returned from maternity leave will be taking over the Huthwaite Managers role. Kelly will be returning to work on a part-time basis and as such we have appointed an Acting Manager to provide continuity in her absence. Darrin Blair, who currently works at Huthwaite as a Support Leader has been appointed to this role.
The Clinical Response Team (CRT) has appointed Pippa Mayo as the new Support Practitioner. Pippa will be working with Gilda Johnson to provide specialist support to complement existing services within Eden Supported Housing and Eden Enhanced. The CRT will work in close partnership with staff members and tenants’, assessing individual tenant’s needs and formulating proactive recommendations and interventions to improve practice and service delivery. I’m sure you’ll join us in wishing Rachel, Kelly, Darrin and Pippa the very best in their new roles.
